Long hair transplant

Before you book
Does a hair transplant hurt?
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, so most people feel only the first injections. Mild soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and managed with simple medication.
FUE or FUT: which is better for me?
FUE takes follicles one by one, leaves no linear scar and heals faster. FUT removes a thin strip of scalp, can move more grafts in one session, and leaves a fine line hidden by longer hair. Dr. Desai recommends one after examining your donor area and the size of the area to cover.
Is the result permanent?
Transplanted follicles come from the back of the head, which is resistant to pattern hair loss, so they keep growing. Your existing hair may still thin over time, which your doctor plans for.
How much does it cost?
Cost depends on the number of grafts and the method. You receive an exact figure in writing after your consultation.
How much time off do I need?
Most people return to desk work within a few days. Exosome sessions need no downtime.
What are exosomes, and do they work?
Exosomes are tiny vesicles that carry growth signals between cells. Early studies show promise for hair density, but evidence is still developing. Your doctor will tell you whether they suit your case.
Can women have these treatments?
Yes. Women with thinning hair are often better suited to exosome therapy, and some are candidates for a transplant. This is assessed at consultation.
